Stephen Colbert In Iraq

Freedom Radio got an exclusive interview with Stephen Colbert while he was in Baghdad taping his show The Colbert Report. Some highlights from the interview:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike On The Mic: "What was tougher for you, the mini-basic training you did at Fort Jackson or not getting on the ballot in South Carolina, your home state?"

Stephen Colbert: "They were both extremely painful and after which I threw up."

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Stephen Colbert: "I might have to have my pinky amputated after some of the manly hand crushing I just got." (in reference to the meet and greet he did with Soldiers at Camp Striker)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mike On The Mic: "I know you've done a lot of voice over work for cartoons. Is that because you have the voice for cartoons? or the face for cartoons?"

Stephen Colbert: "I have the physique for cartoons. I always insist that my cartoon characters have more muscle than I do. It's not that hard, you could go with Olive Oil for that."
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks again Stephen for the trip to Baghdad. Check back to the site for any upcoming events in your area!
